| ... Two months later...
Instead of wasting everyone's time by writing huge long paragraphs about what I've been up to, instead I will make this a picture post. Enjoy!
I've definitely missed Verniture! Weekend in Galveston Alex does NOT like snakes! I climbed a Dragon! Alex is working on his tan. We both made a hole-in-one on the same hole! Right before he left me to go back to Huntsville Alright well that's it! I tried to keep it brief... if you actually looked at the pictures, please leave a comment! I like knowing *someone* actually reads this thing! I love you guys!
| I've been going to Huntsville off and on the past few weeks. I saw quite a few of you either at the Esotype Showcase or at XA last night... it was wonderful! I think I should stay away more often - it's been so great seeing people for the first time in like 6 months and having huge hugs and complete joy in my heart. Humble has made my heart forget how much you guys mean to me; I don't ever want to forget again! So thank you to everyone who approached me - this friendship moratorium has caused me to be reclusive and makes me feel like I'm imposing if I try to fit back into "current" lives. The idea that people could actually be excited to see me again is such an amazing feeling! So again, thank you.
I had a job interview with TDCJ in Huntsville this morning, on top of the 3 I had a few weeks ago. I feel really good about 2 of the interviews, but I know one of those two had 30 applicants being interviewed, so the odds are definitely not in my favor. So hopefully this is where God comes in. If you guys could PLEASE pray for me to be blessed with a job! I would love to live in Huntsville again; I've been stagnant too long, it's time to move forward. I want to be a big girl! This job would give me the ability to get my own apartment (and actually get out of my parents' house!), my own car and start paying off my student loans! It's a big deal! Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Alex and I are still doing great It will be 17 months soon! That's so crazy! It took me 22 years to find someone, and I'm so glad I didn't let that frustration cause me to settle! God has completely blessed me with Alex and I can't believe of all the girls out there he wants to be with ME. Wow. That just blows my mind! Check out a blog he just wrote on his MySpace for me... reading these words confirms that real love is worth all the struggles, heartache, loneliness, doubt and frustration that waiting for "the One" brings! I love you Alex!
If My Heart Wrote A Love Letter
Anyway, I have to be at Old Navy at 8:30am tomorrow morning, so I should get going! Feel free to comment - my Xanga gets lonely! Have a great day/night/week!

I'm sure most of you didn't even notice, but that's okay. I've spent a lot of time in Huntsville (and more recently in Katy) with Alex, and it's been wonderful. Not much is happening in my life right now, so I don't really have a valid reason to update, I just wanted to let you guys know I was still alive. I'm still looking for a job - I really want to work up in Huntsville, so if you guys know of any openings anywhere I would love to hear about them! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and will have a Happy New Year

| Alex and I on our anniversary, September 7th
He's so dang cute! Just thought you should know
| Wow, what a month. Today was my first day "live" on the phones at work... 8.5 hour shift... total of 7 calls I was paid over $100 today for doing about an hour of work. I can definitely get used to this! Annnd they are letting me park at my building now since my shift is one of the later ones. Normally we have to take the shuttle from Building 6 over to 7 (my building, down the street) since there are so many of us... but because I work the 10am-6:30pm shift all the full-time staff is there already when I arrive so I can have one of the leftover spaces. So not only do I get to sleep an extra hour every morning, but I face less traffic, I get to park at my building and my job is really great! God is so, so good.
Alex and I are doing great. We had a really cute date on Saturday involving sushi, World Market and the Mute Math show. This Saturday we are going out with his roommate Cody and his girlfriend Lindsay and going into Houston for more sushi and the Third Day/David*Crowder Band show. Overall I'm having some very good music-filled weekends with the man I love And then 2 weekends from now = Renaissance Fair! I've never been, so this should be interesting.
Oh, and the above book... amazing. I finished it the other day and although I am still a neophyte when it comes to bluegrass, I found myself thoroughly enjoying reading about its eschatology. David Crowder, you never cease to amaze me. I want to meet you again. Call me, I'll take you to dinner. Toni can come too. I promise.
Hope all of you are doing well! Get in touch with me, I would love to hear from you. Seriously.
